Part of the adidas Originals Star Wars collection the Star Wars x adidas NMD R1 Rey pays tribute to the Force-sensitive human female, who was a scavenger that lived on the forlorn frontier world of Jakku during the New Republic Era. This is done by giving the shoe a Light Bone mesh upper complemented by the Tan hits noted on the heel and rear EVA insert overlay. A Rey portrait is branded on the tongues which matches up nicely with the Star Wars lace dubrae. Lastly, a gradient Blue-to-White Boost midsole with Light. Darkness. A Balance. completes the design.
