This new “Deep Garnet” Nike Kobe 9 is inspired by Kobes Lower Merion High School in Pennsylvania. Sporting the schools team colors, the sneaker is done up in a deep garnet upper with a metallic gold swoosh and matching accents, hyper crimson and cave purple finishes throughout. Finished off with a black midsole, the sneaker reads 1996 on the tongue, which is the year Kobe led the school to the state title.
