It is believed that this colorway of the Air Jordan 2 is inspired by the said character from Spike Lees film Do The Right Thing. The connection with the character/movie comes with the accents colors that are the same ones used on the Bed Stuy Do Or Die shirt that Radio Raheem is seen wearing in the movie. The shoe features a black leather upper with colorful accents on the upper eyelets and nubuck detailing on the side panels.
