One of the six styles included in this years Nike 2017 Doernbecher collection is the Nike Air Huarache Ultra by Brayden Sparkman. Fighting lymphoblastic leukemia, Brayden Strong is Brayden Sparkmans nickname. When I was diagnosed, everyone in the community started calling me by that nickname, he explained. For me, it means trying your best and leading by example. Sparkman hopes to play baseball professionally one day. His design on the Nike Air Huarache is a tribute to the game and features red baseball stitching, his own logo and nickname, which describe his playing style. The bright hits of orange is a nod to his favorite baseball and football teams.
