adidas has enlisted the help of renowned American artist Daniel Arsham to create a special colorway of the adidas New York.Inspired by Arshams fascination with the concept of archaeology and 20th century cultural artifacts, this adidas New York features a deteriorated canvas upper in Chalk White with frayed edges. However, what makes this shoe special are the finer harder to see details, such as joint-branding on the tongues that is countered with screen-printed Daniel Arsham and Past details on the underside. The best parts about this shoe have to be the outline of the three stripes branding and the dellinger mesh midsole that have been treated with an ultraviolet ink print which, when placed under UV light, reads THE PAST IS PRESENT. White laces with painted metal tips and exclusive packaging complete this special release.
